From the moment I opened the box I realized how well made this item is. Packaged neat and properly and all the pieces fit together perfectly. It is made from heavy sturdy material and my touch tells me it will last for many years. Cooked evening meal on it the first night we got it and the grilling grate is a terrific bonus. Then added wood to the coals and enjoyed a long night of fire. The extra depth adds both a level of protection and it also helps tremendously with drafting to keep the fire going. The cut out allow tons of air to feed the fire. It is a nicely made, decent sized fire pit that was worth the money on the first time using it. I extremely recommend!
